International Museum Day
10. May 2026A fixed part of the cultural year in St.Gallen too. On International Museum Day, we open the open art museum for free admission.
On Sunday, May 10, 2026, the museums of the city of St.Gallen (excluding the Abbey District) invite you to International Museum Day. Visitors can immerse themselves in the most diverse facets of the St.Gallen museum world. The public can look forward to a colorful program for the whole family with short guided tours, exhibition tours, creative workshops and culinary highlights.

International Museum Day is celebrated annually by the International Council of Museums ICOM to draw attention to the importance and diversity of museums worldwide.
